Mail Boxes Etc. is continuing its green approach while preparing and protecting its customers’ parcels as effectively as possible.
It was with great pleasure that we recently interviewed the Plérin agency about their decision to use Blocbox®.

Can you tell us a bit about Mail Boxes Etc?
Mail Boxes Etc. has been based in Plérin in Brittany since 2016 and was taken over by the new team in 2020.
Mail Boxes etc. is part of a network of centres offering multi-services to local businesses, such as printing and graphics, packaging and parcel shipping in France and worldwide. It also offers a range of carriers to suit customer preferences.
Why did you choose Blocbox® ?
The Mail Boxes Etc… centres are all involved in the ecological approach.
Not long ago, we took the decision to remove non-recycled and non-recyclable materials from our packaging. We therefore decided to use the 100% recyclable and French BlocBox® cushioning solution, which also shares the important values of ecology.
What are the advantages in terms of logistics preparation ?
Blocbox® is easy to use and very compact, which is essential for the storage and security of our parcels and their contents. As far as quality and price are concerned, we use Kraft paper and BlocBox® is less expensive. For fragile objects, we have also found that BlocBox® performs better.
What feedback have your customers given you on Blocbox® ?
We send out cards explaining how BlocBox® works (https://www.blocbox.fr/blocbox-matiere-de-calage/)we want them to understand that it’s better to recycle or reuse it than to throw it away. This means we can all be eco-responsible, from our shop to our customers.
We’ve just started using BlocBox® and so far we haven’t had any feedback. As soon as we receive any feedback, we’ll be sure to share it with the BlocBox® team!
